Our Idaho Works Board is a group of local business people, community based organizations, and State agency partners who have been commissioned to coordinate the workforce development efforts that are underway in our local communities throughout East-Central Idaho. We are an advocate for business; helping them solve their employment and training related problems, and assisting Idahoans with career transitions. Job training and workforce development efforts prepare individuals for participation in the labor force by increasing their occupational and educational skills. This result is improved long-term employability, increased employment and earnings, and reduced welfare dependence.
